China-Hong Kong English School was established in Guangdong Province, Zhongshan in 1994. It is a cooperative work between Yuming Hong Kong Education Investment Company and the Zhongshan Education Association. It is approved by the Zhongshan Education Bureau and registered with the Guangdong Provincial Committee of Education. The school is the first prestigious bilingual school to adhere to the principle “Where East and West Unite Their Best.”


The school’s curriculum has passed the Zhongshan Education and PE Bureau’s standards. The Senior High School offers a choice between a National stream and an International stream. National Stream is only suitable for students from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan & overseas who want to enter Chinese Universities. The international stream is divided into A-Level Science class, A-Level Business Class and IELTS Business Class. A-Level Science and Business class offer Cambridge GCSE courses (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Business, Economy）and IELTS curriculum (reading, writing, listening, speaking). The school organizes students to participate in A-Level and IELTS test. After graduation, students apply to study at overseas universities and therefore do not take Mainland China’s National Senior Test or the University Entrance Gao Kao (Senior High Graduation Exam). Students can apply to Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas universities with their A-Level and IELTS results directly. Advocating the quality education of Chinese and Western culture, the school pays attention to the development of students’ individuality and stresses the importance of social service and student’s participation in practical activities.

广东省中山市中港英文学校创办于1994年，是香港裕名教育投资公司与中山市教育学会合办，经中山市教育局批准并报广东省教育厅备案的学校，是广东省第一所推行“中外结合、培育英才”的优质双语教学的学校。

学校课程设置经中山市教育和体育局审批，高中开设联考班、A-Level商科班、A-Level理科班和商科雅思班；联考班只招收港澳台及外籍学生，参加全国联考入读国内大学。A-Level商科班、A-Level理科班和商科雅思班开设A-Level课程（数学、物理、化学、商业、经济）和IELTS课程（阅读、写作、听力、会话），学校组织学生统一参加A-Level和IELTS考试。高中毕业后不参加国内高中毕业会考和高考，学生凭A-Level和IELTS成绩直接推荐到港澳及国外升读大学。学校推行中西文化并重、以学生个性发展为本、注重社会服务及参与社会实践活动的素质教育。
